Make Link Vault Your Home Page
- Open Preferences from the File menu
- Select Start and exit (in the General preferences)
- Make sure Show my home page is selected below Start
- Enter http://www.LinkVault.com/ in the input box.
- Click the Ok button to save and exit the preferences
You will now go directly to www.LinkVault.com the next time you start Opera or click the Home icon.

This will give you a separate Link Vault panel in the Hotlist window, giving you easy access to web, news and image results.
The panel will be available in the Hotlist right away. (You might have to open the Hotlist by pressing F4.)

By adding this "magic" bookmark to your bookmarks list or Personal bar, you can search Link Vault with a single click.
- Right-click on the "Search Link Vault" link below and select Add link to Bookmarks. Name the link whatever you like, we recommend "Search Link Vault".
- Make sure your Personal Bar is being displayed by enabling it from Personal Bar in the View menu.
- Select Manage Bookmarks from the Bookmarks menu and drag the new bookmark onto your Personal Bar in your browser.
Create a URL Investigator button
By adding this "magic" bookmark to your bookmarks list or Personal bar, you can find a variety of information from Link Vault for any page you visit with a single click.
- Right-click on the "Link Vault Page Info" link below and select Add link to Bookmarks. Name the link whatever you like, we recommend "Link Vault Page Info".
- Make sure your Personal Bar is being displayed by enabling it from Personal Bar in the View menu.
- Select Manage Bookmarks from the Bookmarks menu and drag the new bookmark onto your Personal Bar in your browser.
Note: This link will not work in Opera 7.0 - upgrade to Opera 7.2

In Opera there are already several search keywords defined for Link Vault. To search, enter the keyword followed by a space and your query into the address bar.
Entering "a Opera" in the address bar will search Link Vault for the word "Opera".
The following keywords are defined for Link Vault in Opera 6:
